Mantle was founded in 2022 by a team of 9 co-founders who spent the previous decade working together building mobile apps at Xtreme Labs, cloud orchestration at Pivotal/VMware, and a connected car platform at Autonomic (acquired by Ford).
Through these experiences, we've learned what makes a startup environment successful and the importance of co-ops in building that environment. More than half of our team are proud University of Waterloo alumni.

Socials & Events
We celebrate the beginning and end of co-op terms with team lunches. Board game nights and team outings are regularly on the calendar.
Monthly Hackathon Days
One day a month, we cancel all meetings to hack. Build with the latest developments in AI, design flashy new features, and devour some croissants.
Friday Demos
Every Friday, the team comes together to demo new features or share learnings. There's a tradition to have our co-ops demo something their first week!
